Cinnamon College was born out of our desire to pass on our expertise and teach the next generation of developers about the cutting-edge technologies we’ve been pioneering with Flutter. We've received over a hundred applications from people all over Croatia for our Flutter Course! As a result, we were able to begin teaching the fundamentals of Flutter to the very best students.

A free course for everyone

Students in this Flutter course learned how to use Flutter to build engaging apps for iOS and Android devices. Training in Dart programming has helped them build beautiful, fast, native iOS and Android apps. We've worked with students from a variety of educational backgrounds and skill levels, but they all shared a desire to learn more about Flutter. The top students not only received the necessary flutter knowledge and certification from us, but they also received the opportunity to begin their careers in IT by working for Cinnamon! How did you decide to apply to Cinnamon College?

I've thought about applying to similar courses before, but I never did. So, upon seeing the ad for Cinnamon College, I looked into it a bit more. It was the perfect opportunity: I wanted to learn more about Flutter, and Cinnamon Agency seemed like a great company, so I decided to go for it.

What are your expectations for the Flutter Course?

To learn as much as I can. Naturally, there are a lot of things to cover, but I hope to make the most out of the time spent on the Flutter Course—be it learning about Flutter and Dart, or learning about working on app development projects in general.

What has been your experience at Cinnamon?

It's been amazing! The project we're working on is interesting, and the mentors are super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Not only did we learn about Flutter, but I also learned some tips and tricks on how to maximize my productivity. Plus, the atmosphere at the office is great.

How did you decide to apply to Cinnamon College?

I had some experience with Flutter prior to this course, but my code was very messy. So I wanted to learn how to write clean code and expand my Flutter knowledge because I really enjoy this technology and want to continue to work with it.

What are your expectations for the Flutter Course?

I expected to learn how to write clean and organized Flutter code using best practices, which I did. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn how to make mobile apps.

What has been your experience at Cinnamon?

It was really fun. People are great and welcoming. They are really fun to talk to and they will answer any Flutter question you have. The office is beautiful, and the atmosphere is really chill.

Iva Papac

How did you decide to apply to Cinnamon College?

Throughout my years of study, I have always been interested in mobile app development and realized learning Flutter would be a great start. I even decided to write a master's thesis on Flutter application development and testing. Cinnamon College came as a great opportunity to finish my final year with something interesting and helpful.

What are your expectations for Flutter Course?

Honestly, I had no expectations but was hoping to learn as much and ask as many questions as I could. It turned out even better!

How has been your experience at Cinnamon?

Experience at Cinnamon is amazing and people are super nice. We get to drink for free. :P Our mentors Samantha, Stjepko & Josip are giving their best and helping us with our homework. So far, I have learned a lot which gave me a push to the back to continue working on Flutter after College comes to the end.

How we made the community talk:

The news about our course was picked up by Croatia's largest media outlets, who recognized our idea to make our knowledge of Flutter freely available through our course. We have also been a hot topic at colleges that we have a long history of working together, like RIT as well as all of the major student groups. In order to provide a truly unique learning experience for our students, we reached out to Atlantic Group, which generously donated goodie bags and, perhaps most importantly, a special NFT certificate that stands out from the rest.

Flutter certificates are being tested out with a small pilot program called Cinnamon College NFTs. Students will be able to demonstrate on the blockchain that Cinnamon College was the entity that issued their diplomas by using the Non Fungible Token Certificate, which gives them the ability to become the "owner" of their own certificates.

The fact that there is no third party involved in the authentication process or the maintenance of the certificate's validity is the primary advantage of this. We were early adopters of Flutter many years ago, and now that Flutter is linked to Blockchain and NFTs, it was natural for us to offer non-fungible token certificates to students who successfully finished our Cinnamon College course.

The Future of Cinnamon College:

For us, it was a great opportunity to contribute to the development of a new knowledge-sharing culture as well as give back to the community.

Cinnamon's best employees are constantly working to improve their skills in order to better serve our clients, and now we're making that opportunity available to teach others who want to begin a career in information technology.
